Partners

Ugur Yildirim, Partner

Ugur has over 18 years of experience in investment management and is a co-founder and partner of Elements Capital Partners, a company which specializes in real estate and distressed investment opportunities. Previously has managed Mutual Fund, served as vice chairman of Asset Management companies in Croatia, Slovenia and as advisor to board in Turkey. He led the turnaround of these companies and successfully exit.
Ugur studied at Istanbul Technical University Mechanical Engineering, MBA in University of Ljubljana and he is OPM 55 generation in Harvard Business School alumni 2021.

Uroš Čufer, Partner

Uroš is former Minister of Finance of Slovenia, a position he held during 2013-2014. Prior to that he held positions within NLB, Slovenia’s largest Bank were he was Director of Financial Management and as Director of Analysis and Research at the Central Bank of Slovenia.
Uroš has a PhD from University of Dauphine, Paris.

Matej Pavlič, Investor Relations/ Real Estate Manager

Matej has more than 15 years of experience in real estate management, investments and everything connected to it. He has experience with real estate in European and US markets. For the past 13 years he has been managing the real estate portfolio for one of the largest investment companies in the country.
Matej has a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Maribor and MBA degree from Cotrugli Business School from Zagreb, Croatia.
His responsibilities include curating relationships with investors and managing the real estate portfolio.

Tomaž Ličen, Investment Manager

Tomaž is an Investment Manager at the ECP Tac Op and operates in the Buy-side division. He has experience in mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, restructuring, valuations and other financial services for clients from a wide range of industries. Tomaž also worked as a fund manager in one of the largest mutual funds management companies in Slovenia.
He holds a Master‘s degree in Finance and Banking from the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Maribor and is a member of ACCA. He is also a certified real estate appraiser at the Slovenian institute of Audit.

Kristjan Štirn, Investment Associate

Kristjan is an Investment Associate at ECP Tac op and operates in the Buy-side division. Kristjan joined ECP from Deloitte, as associate in Financial Advisory and engaged in M&A, financial due diligence and valuations for various corporate entities ranging from industrials, automotive, Oil&Gas, banking and financial services. With prior experience as a real estate valuation analyst, he has gained experience in various residential and complex commercial real estate valuations.
Kristjan holds a master's degree (MSc) Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Sciences at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics.

Matej Padar, Legal Associate

Matej is a Legal Associate at ECP Tac op. Before joining the team, he worked as an
Associate at the Law Office Deloitte Legal Reff – branch office in Slovenia and as a Legal Counsel at a larger Slovenian law firm. Matej primarily works on corporate law and M&A matters (legal due diligence, corporate governance, general corporate law advisory) as well as real estate and commercial law matters. Matej holds a bachelor’s degree in law at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law where he is also enrolled in a master’s programme.

Špela Krašovec, Head Admin and HR

Špela holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English and has more than 15 years of extensive experience in leading administration and HR in progressive international working environments, including a U.S. multinational company and U.S. Embassy in Slovenia. For the last 6 years she is in charge of a wide range of administrative and HR duties.
